I was born and raised in Humboldt County and was taught that life’s truest path did not always lay in a formal education. After attending community college I graduated from Humboldt State University, in 2010, with my Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art, emphasis in photography. The allure of speaking without words is what brought me to photography in the first place, but what keeps me going is much more than that. A voice is a precious thing in the world where most follow the path laid down and most heavily tread. I work with a dedication to my vision and the hopes that I may in turn help others do the same
